Hope & Care unit wins prestigious awardThe Wounded Warrior Barracks at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton has been recognized for combining innovative design, construction and operation to provide the highest-quality environment for the emotional and physical recovery of wounded warriors.  The facility has received the first-ever LEED Platinum certification for a U.S. Navy and/or U.S. Marine Corps project.  The LEED Platinum certification was awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council and the Green Building Certification Institute.
